I samarbeid med Abbvie, NordicInfu Care og Norges Parkinsonforbund arrangerer Nansen Neuroscience Network et nasjonalt møte om Parkinson behandling den 11. februar. Møtet er fulltegnet allerede med mer enn 50 deltagere. Vi håper dette kan bli et nasjonalt møte som gjentas i 2017.

Nansen Neuroscience Network (NNN) har behov for virksomheter eller universitet som støtter opp i større grad enn det som forventes av vanlige medlemmer. Universitetet i Oslo (UiO), Det medisinske fakultet, er fra 2016 en slik fasilitator. Samarbeidet mellom UiO og NNN skal fungere til gjensidig nytte. 

Following the success of earlier year's event Oslo Medtech organizes a venture session at the DNB Healthcare Conference - the annual investment conference for Nordic medical device, e-health and biotech companies. NNN members are encouraged to participate. 

Join our breakfast meeting series with politicians, ensuring that our members have the opportunity to discuss research policy, entrepreneurship and pharmaceutical policies. Our next breakfast meeting is Monday November 30th with Cecilie Brein-Karlsen, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Care Services. 

In connection with ECTRIMS in Barcelona 9th of November, an evening meeting for Norwegian participants was organized by Nansen Neuroscience Network. The meeting was organized in collaboration with member firms Novartis, Genzyme, Biogen, Teva, Merck Serono and Almirall. 

A short update on NNN's activity in November.  

Exciting results from a prospective study in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) who received medical drink containing omega-3 and antioxidant were presented at the CTAD conference in Barcelona this week. The omega-3 antioxidant drinks with vit. D3 in this study was provided by NNN member Smartfish.
