We will during the next month, October, start a breakfast meeting series with politicians, ensuring that our members have the opportunity to discuss research policy, entrepreneurship and pharmaceutical policies. More information will follow.

Nansen Neuroscience Network collaborated with LMI, Oslo Cancer Cluster, and Oslo Medtech during the Nordic Life Science Days in Stockholm 9-10th September.

During Arendalsuken in August, Nansen Neuroscience and Year of the Brain collaborated on a public meeting covering stroke and dementia.

With the support of the Norwegian Research Council and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign affaris, we are trying to create deeper collaboration between neuroscience in Norway and Sweden. 

This week, Nansen Neuroscience Network signed a contract securing a three-year financing from the Norwegian Research Council. 

The Nordic Neuroscience Conference was held for the first time in Trondheim from 10th to 12th of June this year. This conference was hosted by the Nobel prize winners Edvard and May-Britt Moser and Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience, NTNU.

The Norwegian Research Council has issued call for proposals for the BIA programme. The BIA programme seeks to provide funding for research-based innovation projects and ecomonic development in areas where Norway has excellent research but lack commercialization.

The Nansen Neuroscience Network General Assembly will be held in Oslo Science Park, June 15th 2015 15:00-16:30.
