In connection with ECTRIMS in Barcelona 9th of November, an evening meeting for Norwegian participants was organized by Nansen Neuroscience Network. The meeting was organized in collaboration with member firms Novartis, Genzyme, Biogen, Teva, Merck Serono and Almirall. 

A short update on NNN's activity in November.  

How does nutrition and malnutrition affect brain development? How can we ensure that the brain gets the nutrients it needs to develop properly? What are the long term effects of deficient nutrition during prenatal and early postnatal life? Join our NNN member's, Norwegian Consortium on Brain Development (NCBD), mini-symposium on November 13th. 

Exciting results from a prospective study in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) who received medical drink containing omega-3 and antioxidant were presented at the CTAD conference in Barcelona this week. The omega-3 antioxidant drinks with vit. D3 in this study was provided by NNN member Smartfish. 

The Nansen Neuroscience Lectures (NNL) are organized in conjunction with Fridtjof Nansen's birthday to commemorate his fundamental contribution to neuroscience. This year professor Bernardo Sabatini from Harvard University is invitedJoin us October 12th!

We will during the next month, October, start a breakfast meeting series with politicians, ensuring that our members have the opportunity to discuss research policy, entrepreneurship and pharmaceutical policies. More information will follow.

Nansen Neuroscience Network collaborated with LMI, Oslo Cancer Cluster, and Oslo Medtech during the Nordic Life Science Days in Stockholm 9-10th September.
